Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and moving materials in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
Ability to load and unload equipment
Ability to dig and refill holes, repair of existing conduit systems, placing of telephone cables, complete restoration of dirt, grass, asphalt, concrete, and brick pavers
Ability to pull/lay conduit, wiring and PVC piping
Ability to operate small equipment
Ability to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed
Must organize and keep vehicle clean

Qualifications:
A valid driver's license. Position may require driving a NON-CDL vehicle, such as a one-ton dump truck, pick-up, or van, in a safe manner obeying all traffic laws
Experience working with little supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must Follow all safety policies and procedures and wears the required personal protective equipment for the job
Ability to travel as much as required

Job Responsibilities:
Splice fiber optic or copper on various kinds of job sites
Perform daily pre and post trip checks on all jobsite equipment and vehicles
Demonstrate good judgment in the field
Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies
Utilize standard telecommunications tools
Read and interpret splicing prints
Manage daily and weekly project work based on deadlines, material and equipment availability, weather, and other factors
Coordinate with supervisor to ensure continual supply of work and availability of materials
Draft and submit redlines and splicing paperwork in a timely manner upon completion of project
Identify the location of defective cable using various test equipment and repair buried and aerial fiber optic cables
Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:
Submit accurate and timely Production Reports
Oversees crew assignments including daily work assignments and communication with the crew and general public
Ability to handle, instruct, or oversee daily work components including: pulling cable, operating various equipment to install fiber optic cable, and other means of pneumatic construction
Provide on the job training for employees working under your direction while ensuring a safe and productive work environment
Perform daily field inspection to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications
Reads and implements design prints and other related instructions pertaining to the job
Maintains and operates vehicle and equipment safely following all manufacturer safety specifications and traffic regulations
Maintains proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

Qualifications:
2 years fiber placing experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to travel. Overnight travel may be required depending on work location
Must be open and communicative, and accepting of direction from superiors
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Able to manage time critical assignments

Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Operator

Job Responsibilities:
Safely and responsibly set-up and clean-up work zone
Safely operates directional drills on the job site including daily calibration of locator and drill head
Safely identify all utilities in the construction area and bore path
Safely and correctly connect/stub-up conduit and wire
Safely dig pits, trenches, or potholes as directed by the job plan including windows when crossing utilities
Restores and/or landscapes disturbed areas of the job site
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Notifies supervisor about sub-standard quality issues
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying instructions, labels, blueprint specifications, and materials
Help maintain machines, ensuring they are always in proper working condition and available for maximum throughput
Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of previous experience or training
Experience with “safety systems” and strike alerts associated with the drill including set-up and emergency procedures
Experience with loading, unloading, and transport procedures for the drill
Experience with drilling fluids and proper mixing procedures for ground conditions
Experience with performing proper daily maintenance of the drill
Experience with the proper care and rotation of rods
Experience with support equipment operation, digging equipment, vacuum units, and reel trailers
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to travel. Overnight travel may be required depending on work location

Job Responsibilities:
Locate drill equipment and various other equipment in conjunction with locating duties. i.e Directional Drill location, Hydrovac, Excavator, etc
Responsible to read locate paint or locate flags of utility placement, and possess the ability to “read the job layout” including valves and meter housings that may or may not have been located
Ensuring Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, etc.) are properly and continuously maintained in good repair and secured in a safe manner
Read blueprints organization of materials and other resources as necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools
Maintain bore logs
Maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience locating for a direction drill or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to locate drilling in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities
Knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment
Knowledge of Underground Construction practices
Able to use Ditch Witch locating equipment
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 80 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to travel; Overnight travel may be required depending on work location
